The National Center for Human Resources Development took the lead in the implementation of various HRD related activities on the local, regional and international levels. Such activities included:
1- Human Resources Classification Manuals:
The National Center for Human Resources Development issued HR classification manuals, including the Jordanian standard classification of occupations, the Jordanian standard classification of education, and the Jordanian Standard classification of economical activities. The accomplishment of such activities provided a tool to build human resources databases, which helps the development of information and enhance its quality. This classification was implemented, utilizing local efforts and international support.
2 - Indicators:
Since the year 2000 NCHRD has been working on collecting and issuing human resources indicators, which are available both as hard copies and electronic copy published on the internet. NCHRD produced also the technical and vocational education and training indicators for the years 2001-2006. In addition, it published the labour market indicators manual as well as the higher education indicators manual.

4 – Electronic services in the human resources field:
The Center executed electronic services in the field of human resources development in Jordan through AlManar project. Such services included electronic recruitment, human resources information database and career counseling.
5 – NCHRD is considered a centre of excellence within its lines of expertise, both regionally and internationally. Thus, many organizations worldwide utilize such expertise, such as the Arab labour Organization, Arab Center for Human Resources Development, UNESCO, UNICEF, ETF. In addition to that the Center is a member of UNEVOC.
